Stream-Flo’s Crown Hydraulic Self-Contained, Spring-Fail Closed Emergency Shutdown (ESD) System is used for the automatic closing of gate valves on wellheads and flow lines under emergency conditions. The system consists of a hydraulic actuator, a manual hydraulic pump and control assembly, and a reverse-acting gate valve. The system can be tripped by several means, the most common means by a pressure pilot which trips the system when it senses pressure fluctuations outside of the specified control range. Also remotely by the use of solenoids and position switches
Stream-Flo ESD models can be equipped with single or double-acting hydraulic or pneumatic actuators with manual override and fail-safe closed or open systems.
Stream-Flo’s Crown gate and check valve products feature a full bore/thru-conduit design, in-line reparability and protected long-life seats. The gate valves are designed for all types of applications.
Stream-Flo Crown Self-Contained Hydraulic ESD / SSV actuation system mounted as a master valve shutdown system. It is being powered and controlled by remotely located Crown Pump Control Unit and tripped by an integral Crown High / Low Pressure Sensing Pilot and RTU / SCADA. It is equipped with position indicating limit switches.

CONFIG2 INTEGRATED SYSTEMS
THE CONFIG2 CONSISTS OF AN ACTUATED GATE VALVE ASSEMBLY, CHOKE/CONTROL VALVE, ACCESS TEE, PUMP CONTROL UNIT, PILOT, ISOLATION VALVE, NEEDLE VALVE AND PRESSURE GAUGE. TRIP CONTROL DEVICES SUCH AS A SOLENOID CAN BE ADDED. THE ACTUATED GATE VALVE IS ON THE UPSTREAM END, THE ACCESS TEE ON THE DOWNSTREAM END, AND THE CHOKE/CONTROL VALVE IS LOCATED BETWEEN THE TWO.
Combining the industry-leading technologies from Stream-Flo and Master Flo Valve in a factory assembled and tested system provides substantial cost savings to assemble and install on-site, faster installation, and a smaller footprint. The Stream-Flo Surface Safety Valve (SSV) provides reliable automatic shutdown in the event of abnormal pressure fluctuations in the flow line due to fire, ruptured line, surface equipment failures/faults, damaged wellheads or other causes. Master Flo’s choke/control valve provides effective flow control at all flow rates, along with superior resistance to sand erosion and body or outlet port erosion.
